Polymorph Mouldable Plastic 250g
Polymorph is one of a new generation of commercial polymers set to have a major impact on model making and prototyping. It is a very tough material yet it can be easily moulded when heated with hot water or a hairdryer. It is stronger than most polythene used in domestic products.
Tiny plastic polycaprolactone (PCL) pellets that, when heated to 62°C, becomes mouldable putty-like material. It then solidifies as it cools becoming a solid plastic similar to nylon. Polymorph is a thermoplastic material that can be reheated and remoulded as often as is needed. It can be coloured when hot using colourant and can be painted once it cools using acrylic paints.
The material is nontoxic and waterproof when cooled and is fully biodegradable.
What do you do with it? It is perfect for making models, replacement parts, toys, sculptures, robotics, small-parts prototyping, arts/crafts, there's almost no end to what you can do with this stuff. Try embedding LEDs into it for a cool diffuse glow effect.
Note: Polymorph should be fused in water and should not be heated above the 60°C-65°C temperature range as it may cause burns if handled.

How to Use Polymorph
- Simply heat the pellets in water to over 62°C (only use water)
- Leave the pellets to melt in the water until they turn transparent.
- Remove the pellets from the water and mould by hand (add colour at this stage if required)
- Allow the Polymorph to cool until solid.
- Re-heat if further moulding is required.
